The Savills NVQ Level 2 Apprenticeship Program

This fully funded course is delivered  in partnership with Ofsted accredited Total Training Ltd and is a fully accredited and funded NVQ Level 2 qualification. You will have identifed an apprenticeship placement employer with whom we will work alongside to ensure that you receive the highest level of education and experience.  Savills Academy  is a personal and professional learning space where you will learn in small groups in a fully supervised setting.   Starting your  training on mannequin heads you will  then progess to working with  live models in our city centre location.  The Savills Apprenticeship Programme is unique in the fact that it will provide you with the skills and credentials to beome a confident premium level barber in a professional, unpressurised environment.  Lead Educator Joth Davies's educational career spans decades of delivering education internationally and at home with brands such and Wahl, Mizutani and of course Savills. He and his team will lead personal, fully supervised, small group lessons in our Sheffield academy. Our academy is situated in central England, only a 10 minutes walk from Sheffield train station.

Classes are held fortnightly with homework then being set and reviewed at the following session.

• Hands on practical experience staring on mannequin heads and progressing onto live models.
• Cutting techniques on both long and short hair
• Disconnecting, tapering and graduation
• Scissor work
• Clipper work
• Fading
• Razor Cuts
• Styling & finishing
• Hot towel wet shaves & facial massage
• Barbering Science and health & safety
• Social Media Tips and techniques
• Retail sales
• Facial hair cutting and styling
